My genius Instagram trick that nobody uses but me!

Happy Tuesday beautiful people and welcome back to my blog.

Today, I want to share with you guys a little trick that I found out that has been super helpful in helping me get more engagement and visibility just by dropping comments on people's pages. This is a little tip that I've noticed a lot of people don't utilize and it's been so helpful when I'm trying to grow in getting a lot more visibility on the comments that I leave. Now, I'm not saying to just go ahead and just drop comments on random pages just to do this, but on the comments that you do actually engage on and that you leave authentically, do yourself a favor and heart them.

Yes guys, heart your own comment.

I know when people comment on your page a lot of times you'll heart their comments and respond, but if you go to another person's page and you drop a comment, an authentic comment, not just a copy/paste one, make sure to heart it. Now, why would you do this? What is the point of this? Instagram's algorithm recently changed, and so instead of seeing comments pop up in chronological order, it's changed now. There's this thing top comments, and the way these top comments are determined is two things.

One if your account is verified. If your account is verified, you have a higher chance of having your comment pop up at the very top of the comments section. Obviously, the top comments, the first ones that pop up, are the ones that everybody sees. And, so it's really important that our comment shows up there.

Now, let's say your account's not verified. A lot of us aren't. So, what can you do? You can heart your own comment. Guys, the other way that you can get to the very, very top of that comments section is by getting a lot of engagement on your comments, and now if you heart it, that's considered engagement on the comment. If someone responds to your comment, that's considered engagement on the comment.

Now, I know you're probably thinking you're not going to be getting hundreds and thousands of hearts on your comment, and that's fine. That's not the goal here, but think about this. Let's say you go and comment on your friend's post or on your ideal client's post, and there's 50 comments there, and yours is the only one that's hearted. So, you leave a heart for your comment, and then the person obviously who's account it is is probably going to heart it too. That's two hearts for that one comment that you have compared to all the other comments that have no hearts or just one heart.

What do you think is going to happen? Your comment is going to pop up to the very top of their comments section, and anybody lagging on that post is going to see your comment first. If it's a meaningful comment, if it's something that gets people wondering, like hey what is this person's account about? They're more than likely going to click through to your account, read your content, and see if they like what they're seeing, and if they do, they're going to follow you.

This is a simple, simple trick that you can do, but it makes a huge difference. So, make sure next time you drop a comment, make sure to heart it. Okay.
